These dates are extremely rare in the United States and were brought here from Iraq in 1910 when several acres were cultivated in AZ and CA. They fell out of favor to the Medjool dates probably because of their shorter shelf life but have a superior flavor and are worth trying anew.

Pinnacle Farms can ship 2500 pound totes, or 50 lb sacks to you.
Berries are used whole in salads or ground into flour for tortillas, pancakes, and scones. Not usually used for bread, due to the lower protein content, but often mixed with other grains for a unique flavor

These mini straw bales are super cute and great for holiday decorations. $8 each, they are smaller and easier to handle, and the heritage grains I grow produce a softer straw, better for your animals to bed down on.
